hardwoods are a mix of saw-timber and pulpwood sized timber. The common species found on the tract include loblolly and some shortleaf pine; hardwood
species include red oak, white oak, post oak, yellow poplar, and sweetgum.
The tract is surrounded on three sides by the J. C. "Sonny" Gilbert, formerly known as the Sicily Island Hills WMA, which would make this an ideal recreational
property. The tract supports whitetail deer, wild turkey, and small game species. The WMA offers an additional 7,524 acres of public hunting opportunities.
Access: There is no apparent or known legal access. But the tract can be accessed on an ATV trail through the adjoining WMA.
