160 +/- ac bottomland hunting tract in Caldwell Parish, LA
This tract is a mixed hardwood bottomland along the Castor Creek.
The hunting will include deer, hogs, and squirrels with some wood ducks in the creek. There are thousands of adjoining acres of creek bottom and timberland
to provide backup wildlife habitat.
There are a few rough trails to help facilitate access.
NOTE: This is a creek bottom that will flood. This tract is in no way suitable for a rural home site. There are no nearby utilities, nor is it feasible
to get electricity to the tract.
Access: The tract has a deeded 60 feet wide servitude from Vixen road to the NW corner. It is currently just a 4-wheeler trail.
Location: On the east side of Vixen Road approx. 1.25 miles south of Hwy 4 west of Columbia.
Legal: NE/4 of Section 6, T14N, R2E, in Caldwell Parish, LA
